LOCAL SPACE COMPANY TO ATTEND SEMINAR
Albuquerque, NM. May 7, 2012 — NMSTARG, also known as the New Mexico STAR Group, will be in attendance at a seminar May 9, 2012, hosted by the Center for Commercialization and Entrepreneurial Training (LINK), the education and training arm of Technology Ventures Corporation (LINK), a local company that helps space based start-up businesses.
"I'm very excited that our small venture will attend this exciting and informative seminar," said Rich Holtzin, a founding member of the NM STAR Group, and the Business Marketing researcher. He added, "I'm looking forward to meeting more like-minded individuals who want to move forward into the commercialization of space."
The seminar is located at the NM Science and Technology Park. Topics include the basics on how to start up an aerospace/astronautics business and keep it afloat.
"I know that we could always use quality professional development when it comes to the day-to-day operations of running such a unique business," said Holtzin; "Tech Ventures does just that."
"Yeah, and they had a great price on the seminar too," joked Joe Maness, another founding member. "The price made it very affordable to go."
The seminar is free of charge.
NMSTARG is a space technology research company that is tasked with creating a comprehensive space program using off-the-shelf technology paid for by the extraction of lunar commodities.
