NM STAR GROUP ENCOURAGED BY CAMERON NEWS

Albuquerque, NM. April 21, 2012 — James Cameron has made news again (LINK) with the revelation that he is teaming up with some rather well known billionaires to merge space exploration and resources together to make a lot of money.

"Sound familiar?", joked Joe Maness, an NMSTARG (LINK) founding member and lead engineer. "I can't wait to talk to them about our research".

Rich Holtzin, another founding member, agrees. "We have a Gestalt approach to the space program", he said, adding "that is what will make our program sustainable versus other space endeavors".

Holtzin was asked about extracting resources from asteroids instead of the moon, as is rumored that the Cameron group would be pursuing. "Well," he began, "we just figured that the moon was a lot closer. My understanding is that to mine asteroids, you are going to have to bring the asteroid to about where the moon is at anyway. So why not instead bypass that step and just go directly to the moon"?

"That's exactly right", add Maness. "The moon has everything that an asteroid has anyway. Sure, you will have to lift all that mass out of the lunar gravity well as opposed to a zero gravity well on an asteroid. But we address all of that in our paper, and back it up with solid mathematics. We see no concerns whatsoever".

NMSTARG is a space technology research company that is tasked with creating a comprehensive space program using off-the-shelf technology paid for by the extraction of lunar commodities.

  1. Planetary Resources may be prepared to raise and spend tens of billions of dollars to achieve their dream of commercialized space exploration. What is your group prepared to do?

    1. Anonymous,

We are prepared to ask for $50B to $65B, to be spent over a three (3) year period. The end result will be an operational and reusable space shuttle, lunar shuttle, orbital vehicle, and even a lunar lander.

These vehicles will bring down the cost of spaceflight operations by a tremendous factor. That, along with revenue from lunar commodity extraction (and other revenue streams), should cover the cost of conducting a highly profitable business in space.
